  I was contacted by Dan because he found my resume on Indeed. I have a total of 8 years driving over the road. Dan called me for a spotter position in Rochelle, IL and I live in Rockford, IL. He asked if I could drive to Minooka, IL to interview with him and fill out an application the following day. I drove over 200 miles round trip to fill out the application. He was in a meeting and an employee named Matt took my application. As I was returning back to Rockford Dan called and applogized that he was in the meeting but wanted to know if I could stop by Rochelle and meet with a spotter there to show I could back. He told me not to worry just take my time. I do the test and the spotter was to call him and let Dan know how I did. The spotter didn't know Dan. I texted Matt to let him know I had completed the test. The first call from Dan was on Sunday 08/20/17 and he wanted me to start on Tuesday or Wednesday of that week. I still haven't heard anything back from them. I passed up a position that I was suppose to start on that Monday 08/21/17 but I was spending money that I really didn't have to drive 200 miles because I was more or less told I had the position. If this is any way that a company is ran I would suggest that folks look else where. I did some research and Dan is the President of the company. So, it must be unorganized from the head down.
  
  ( update 8/25/17 response to the the response to my review. In my phone conversations with Dan I expressed to him that I had never driven a yard truck. He told me that he understood that and knew it would be a learning curve to driving one but, he told me that if he could teach his 16 year old son to drive one I would have no issue. I still believe that applicants deserve the curtesy of at least a follow up via email. I just wanted to leave my response to their comment. )
